Parking charge from UK parking control

Hi all,

A friend received the following parking charge - notice to keeper. From UKPC (UK parking control) Please let me know the following steps that they should be advised on.

Why ask for confirmation of a simple "sit tight"? Its fairly obvious that youre waiting on a POPLA code, so what repsonse would you make that would be of any help to you?

My friend states he was just worried because they said they couldn't open the appeal - would this count as not appealing? Therefore wouldn't be provided with a POPLA code?

Ok no problem. Thank you for your help. It was only because they said they couldn't read the appeal. Hence why my friend was worried. Thanks for your help though
