Today my Aunt received a letter which says it's from County Court Business Centre Northhampton. It is by "Have A Nice Car Park LTD" and "BW Legal". It states the Issue date is 26/Nov/2021 but She got the letter today. It got two "packs" admission and defence. We are based in England
They are claiming the following amount Amount Claimed - £163.44 Court Fee - £35 Legal Rep cost - £50 Total - £248.44 It says to log in to a website. So, I logged in to www.moneyclaim.gov.uk which is sending me to the Gov website which asks me to Sign in using Government Gateway, when I tried that it says your "details do not match". I entered the password given by them and the claim number. A bit background my Aunt is an individual with a serious disability she has trouble walking and she holds a blue badge. Due to her disability, she does not work and currently receives state benefits. The car in question is also a Motability car. So some questions, - is this letter genuine? - How do we tell the court we got this letter since the website is not working? - What kind of defence will she need? - is there anything we can do? - How do we find out what evidence do thay have against her? |

Yes, I get you're busy. However this isn't something you can half arse. It's serious.
You have 33 days from date of issue, assuming you ack on day 5 from issue. You work it out. I meant : post up THE DEFENCE only showing us what yiu changed from the template. No one's wanting to review what we know is goood, just in case you changed a random word. |

UPDATE 16 December
Hello, My aunt got a letter from BW Legal. - In which they are offering her to pay in instalments of £40 per month. - Showed two photos that she stayed in the car park for 17 Mins even tho she never left the car. - Sent us two letters from June and July that their Client sent to her demanding £100 or £60 if paid within 10 days I think? She already sent her defence this week on Monday. |
