I have received a parking fine from the company C P Plus. I was parked at a motorway service on the m25 and apparently overstayed the limit of hours. I had no choice at the time as my car had overheated and had to call the AA. I have been told by a friend that a private car park cannot sent me a parking fine. Is this true? Also what can i do? Appeal or...??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! |

You could look at it from my point of view ....
I got a few letters from CP plus two years ago with regards to using a car park they did not own. (same as you) I ignored three of their letters and have not heard anything from them in over 20 months. Others may prove me wrong but I do not remember CP Plus ever taking anybody to court. Out of the 1.8 million private parking invoices issued last year only 49 were heard before a court and the parking companies lost half of those. -------------------- The word "gullible" isn't in the dictionary |
