Help please. I've had a parking 'fine' from Excel Parking Service and don't know whether to pay it.
I parked in Menai Car Park, Dean Sreet,Bangor, in a disabled bay with a friend who displayed their Blue Badge. We mistakenly thought there was no parking fee. My appeal (first appeal) has been turned down. There is a second stage appeal, but from what I've read the 'independent' body is not that independant and it would be a waste of time. Years gone by, I would have ignored it, but I know things have changed recently and these companies are now more likely to prosecute successfully. Does anyone gave experience of this company? Do they actually prosecute? Thank you for your help. |

They do. http://www.bmpa.eu/companydata/Excel_Parking_Services.html
Post up a redacted copy of the notice to keeper and edit your first post so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred. Use "the dtiver......." etc Don't even think about appealing to the IAS who are far from independent. Simply wait and see what comes next. BB have no significance on private land, other than to show a disabled occupant, This post has been edited by ostell: Sat, 13 Jan 2018 - 19:38 |
