Hi good people,

I,m hoping to get some advice/ideas from yourselves, i,ve been a lurker on here for a long time and I,ve read lots on how to beat these scavengers and their ridiculous charges so I hopefully wont ask anything that's been asked/answered a thousand times before.
So here goes i received a NTK from Excel parking as registered keeper around beginning of march 2018 (Not sure if I should post exact dates),i sent them a reply based on lots of helpful info on here, template letters, counter arguments, compliance etc and received the usual "invitation" to identify the driver I replied stating I am at present unable to identify driver but I would be willing to undertake an investigation into trying to identify driver if they agreed to pay me biggrin.gif well they obviously refused and I,ve had some template reply letters, just wondering if I should carry on the letter ping pong or wait it out.

Their latest reply is a good one stating they abide by their original appeal decision, I NEVER APPEALED!!!! they wont acknowledge any further appeals??? and also wont respond or acknowledge any further correspondence from me??

They go on to say they wont accept me charging them for investigating identity of driver, surprise surprise, apparently I work for them for free!! and IAS no longer applies as the timescale has passed???

I will give any more info on the replies I,ve given if anyone wants to know more although my last letter to them was 5 pages long, they haven't answered ANY of my pertinent points, just wondering is it worth me writing again?

Keep up the good work though guys.

It's only a few months since the "credit clamping" scandal when companies were issuing claims to old addresses in order to cash in the default judgments when they were discovered on credit records

The cost and effort to set aside the judgments meant that few victims would go down this route even though it meant that their records would be damaged for the next five years

IIRC Excel employed somebody with the specific task of identifying three to four year old cases for this treatment
Can't recall the exact numbers but 60+% successful rings a bell

I really appreciate the heads up and I don't doubt what you are stating, I think I know after 6 months of dealing with this PCN exactly what these companies are.

I will say one thing with 100% certainty, they have NO CHANCE of catching me out with a default CCJ, I am not moving, this is the last house I will ever live in, I have access to my credit file and only recently dealt with my identity being stolen.

The scumbags used my details to open up credit accounts and a credit card, I intervened and SMASHED EM!!!!! now got protective registration and alerts set up, I know this wont stop any Court claim but trust me I will not miss it.

Have a great day guys.

Why would I NEED to check if I've got a CCJ registered against me when I've got WRITTEN!!!!! confirmation of PCN cancellation and no further action, seems a bit pointless cool.gif

If they have confirmed no action, then I'd write back to them telling them they have no legitimate interest in holding your personal information and in accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR, you would like it erased.
