Does this Peek Red Light Camera flash drivers in the right hand lane or just drivers going straight ahead?
A641- 700 Manchester Road (Bradford)

Also do these cameras use the sensors on the road?

Judging by the position, straight on and left turn.
I'm not convinced lens angle would be wide enough to cop right hand lane.
But is an opinion.

If you are worried about someone turning right and getting left in no mans land when the lights change, I wouldn't.
AFAIK, these cameras are triggered by the lights being red AND a vehicle passing over the stop line.
If someone is turning right and already past the line, unlikely IMO to be copped.

Thanks but the light was red before they went through. (New driver confusion. He saw cars ahead of the red light waiting to turn so he assumed the red lights were for the central lanes šŸ˜–

By the sensors on the road it seems ahead only - but you can't be definite.

Is there any way to obtain pictures taken from a similar peek camera to see how big the area they cover is?

Red light cameras are triggered when any part of a vehicle crosses the stop line on red. They are usually set to capture both the vehicle and the relevant light.

What makes you think it is a ā€œPeekā€ camera?

A google search showing different traffic cameras. An identical one to the camera at the red light was labelled a peek camera. Correct me if i'm wrong
