My Car got a ticket for being parked in a "roadway" that in actual fact is a little layby behind a vaping shop.

Was only there for 5 mins max. Total joke. Surely these tickets are blatant mafia extortion. Will they even bother to pursue this? Should it be appealed? and to whom? or is that just encouraging them?

The ticket is misprinted as the ticket is misaligned with the printer? Would that be a legal get out?

Working links would be nice perhaps?

Blatant extortion maybe, but they certainly win some cases in court.

Will they bother to pursue, yes.

EDIT out any indication of who was driving, no I, we, they, he or even the dog. Refer to the driver only as the driver, please edit your post.

It's an invoice, there is no concept of a 'legal get out' in that respect. Apoealing is designe dto discourage them, they love those who ignore everything and end up with a CCJ at the end of it.

The keeper will deal with this not the driver (even if they happen to be the same person they are different legal entities, even better if they are different people). I presume this was a windscreen ticket (I can't see the images through a firewall), the keeper will appeal as the keeper to arrive on day 26. This is to try and encourage the Parking Company not to comply with the Protection of Freedoms act by contacting the DVLA and thus they can never hold the keeper liable.

need to check that, there prob are signs somewhere on the park, but how are you supposed to know if you turn up in the middle of the park.

Read the BPA code of practice, it lays out how signage should be.

Prominent signs at entry to notify you it's private land and to look out for the detailed signs, then detailed signs through out the site.

Without a teleporter or flying car you can't 'turn up in the middle of the park', the majority of cars will use an entry roadway I'd guess?
