hello everyone
I sent a letter to civil enforcement but im not sure if they can identify me as a driver because what I have said on it . "I am writing to you to acknowledge your letter before action. I would like to explain all the situation before hand. I received from you 2 final reminders with request of 100 pounds charge. I never received the 1st letter with reduced amount. This made me believe that was part of a scam. This final reminders had no details of place or time of incident that is why I did not take it seriously. Also I got in touch with 2 of my friends that received on same date these final reminders and they told me that they never got 1st letter just like me. That is why I am sure the 1st letters were never sent. Date of incident was /03/2017 and the site was KFC, MARINE PARADE, LOWESTOFT, NR330QL. I cannot remember if I was there on that day as it happened 2 months ago. Even if I been in this place I think that the departure time is wrong because I have a proof from my son's childminder that I was at their house at given time because I have to pick my son before 14:00. To make me accountable could you please provide me with evidence such as photos that it was my car and me driving it. If you prove me that all of this is true I am prepared to pay reduced rate as I never got opportunity to do so . Otherwise I will be left with no alternative but to face this matter in court . I am able to wait 14 days to receive an answer from you or drop this case." I'm sorry for my bad English I have failed even on functional skills!!! this story is going for months now with my last letter been from Wright Hassall with a letter before action that I think they can't do it. But I know that eventually I will go to court I have read so much but to write one of this response for myself will be very challenging. I would appreciate any advice. worst case I will have to pay someone to do it for me but won't go down with a fight. |
