Nottingham Evening Post

Most of what's written in this article has already been mentioned numerous times but there was one quote which caught my eye, and I don't recall it being mentioned here.

QUOTE
For those who don't have a clean licence at the time of the office (sic), or if you have been on the course in the last three years, it is unlikely you will be offered the awareness course as an option.

So that may explain why some posters don't get an offer when ordinarily you would assume they should. Perhaps they already have points they haven't mentioned.

I don't recall it being mentioned here.

Possibly because it's bollocks?

A number of great examples in that car crash as to why SP rightly says never ask a copper for legal advice!

I suspect it's merely down to having taken a course in the previous three years. They generally want you to take the courses as the money doesn't go back to central Government.

"An accredited course is far more likely to improve driver behaviour and consequently make our broads safer."
I've always found the women in Nottingham reasonably safe to start with, but I'd be happy to go on a course to find out more.

I remember this beauty in the local paper a few years ago - always remove your tax disc from the vehicle when you’re not using it to prevent thieves breaking in and stealing it.
