For 2

Do they know who the driver is, or do they happen to have the details from the hire company which MAY be the keeper?

Think about this and answer carefully.

You have to first win the set aside.

What grounds did you apply under - cpr13.2 and 13.3?
How long between the last contact with them, you moving out and the claim being issued? Dates needed.

You're essentially going to have as a defence frustration of contract

Just write to them. Hand deliver it. Di whatever is needed as a matter of urgency, as while the claimant should be the one to tell the court you've paid, they do t really care.

Edit your posts as instructed

Ignore drp. They're wastes of oxygen.

Wait on the sar and confirm if they meet pofa. To do so, you need to do some research. Coming back and asking "what do I do next???" Isn't a good thing 😊

You have an immovable deadline - file the defence

If the sar isn't returned in time, it's irrelevant. You file your defence. No ifs or buts.

No, you cannot do that.

Your defence has zero evidence. That's what your witness statement is for.

Your defence needs to be a Good faith one. You MUST file the defence before the deadline. That is imperative. You do not have a choice in this. If the star is not received in time, you file regardless.

Date of issue of claim form

If you are out of the uk for SIX years then a ccj won't affect your credit report , and if you never come back you don't care at all

You could also go on the offensive - lba to the MA that signed a contract they didn't have authority to do giving rights to land that isn't theirs to give.

That's a single point appeal. While it should be enough, it means a bad assessor can muck it up for you

You've got a gamble. "Any other good reason". If you can show that the strikes were on when the form would have been sent out, that tips it a little in your favour.

If it fails you're down 275 quid. Not worth it to me.

As above.

You should tell the claimant that their principal has ordered the charge is cancelled. As such, their claim has absolutely no chance of success as the "commercial interest" required for a parking charge to be potentially enforceable. Without it, the charge is a penalty and barred from recovery.

You sugges they discontinue.

File a defence. You can negotiate. Settlement at my point. We've yet to see a court allow the bogus debt collector charges, so around £200 is a typical verdict in court.
Court date is likely 6 months away.

Those aren't defences. Supreme Court ruled that these aren't necessarily extortionate.
There is a template defence. Mae forum. Read and understand it

No worries. Just making sure you're aware this isn't a job you can do at the last minute. It's not just a form you're filling out, but also a witness statement, you want a draft defence etc.

anything you want to query. We don't know what you've got

Contesting jurisdiction was silly - you live in England and sales I presume so the England and Wales court has jurisdiction over you. But practically it should t matter, as you have to also file an application within14 days costing £275 .... so they'll just ignore you.

Have you read the muse forum newbies thread? Have you checked the Nik against the requirements of pots 2012 schedule 4 to see if they can hold you liable as keeper?

The claimant is supposed to confirm that the payment was made, but it's always best to do it yourself as well just to make sure.

You file via email, assuming you're filing the full defence (with a c....) and this proof that their principal wants it ended.
