Hey, Just wanted to get some extra opinions on this PCN for entering and stopping in a box junction. Does it make a difference that I attempted to move to the side of the car when I noticed that I would be left in the junction, or not since I still have 1 wheel inside of it? And does that count as blocking the junction?

To get some feedback it needs to be in the council section (as you’ve not committed a criminal offence). I’ve asked a mod to move it for you.
In addition you need a link people can click on! -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!

Thanks Rookie, I didn't realise that it had to be in that section, and I've edited the link so that it should work now. |

Looks like the original purpose of this box may have changed, as we've seen with one in Newham. Where is it? Post PCN as PMB asks.

Yes, the layout has recently changed Stamph,. The YBJ keeps the way ahead clear for cycles and in the authority’s mind all vehicles turning left from Upper Marsh road, but quite how that would work without stopping in the box I'm not sure -------------------- I do tend to have a bee in my bonnet re failing to consider and fairness

Can't see any flaws on the PCN.

So am i bang to rights and have no basis for appealing? A tallow box needs to be at the junction of two or more roads Given the change of use I would argue that this box is no longer at the junction of two or more roads so cannot be legal or enforced -------------------- All advice is given freely. Would I still be able to pay the reduced charge if the appeal fails and it's over the 14 day period? |
