Sorry for hijacking. I'm in the same situation but it was my dads car that I was driving, I'm willing to go down the ignore line but my dad is telling me to pay it because it is in his name and the letters will be going to his address, what advice can anyone give me? Again sorry for the hijack

Again sorry for the hijack Should have started your own thread as advice is often different per circumstance. Basically you should 'appeal' with your details and take your Dad out of the equation. There's plenty of wording on recent cases, basically the 'hard' appeal that let's them know that you know the law is on your side or the 'soft' appeal where you act all innocent and get a POPLA reference to fightback and cost them... Or just ignore... -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver
PoFA=Protection of Freedoms Act, SAC=Safety Awareness Course, NIP=Notice of Intended Prosecution, ADR=Alternative Dispute Resolution PPC=Private Parking Company, LBCCC=Letter Before County Court Claim, PII=Personally Identifiable Information, SAR=Subject Access Request Private Parking - remember, they just want your money and will say almost anything to get it. |

Tell your Dad to write to them and name you as the driver
Then put in a hard appeal |
