If you are referring to Parking Prankster, I believe he does humanitarian work overseas as his "proper" job.

"Prankster" has never been banned. Nor, for obvious reasons, has "parking".

The links to his blog have sometimes caused issues, never the normal writing of his name, confused perhaps?

Having said that with the recent issues I'm not sure I'd want to be associated with overseas humanitarian aid right now...........

I never said banned nor was there an attempt to imply. Just that the last time I wrote the term out in full, for some reason the post had Parking Prankster censored as f it was a swear word.

Alright, censored then. Same answer though.

Unless you're the sort of person to pay vulnerable people for sex, why not? I think anyone with a basic grasp of statistics knows that almost all volunteers benefit wherever they go. The fact there are a few little shits who take the piss only goes to show there are a few little shits in any walk of life.

By your reasoning you'd never become a football coach, or a teacher, or a hospital volunteer because some people are idiots and rightly get found out.

Indeed, there's a news story in the press about the ex police officer who used to rape vulnerable prisoners, by that logic if you're woken up by the sound of a burglar you wouldn't want to call 999 as the officers might turn up and rape you...

I think the outrage about abuse by charity workers had less to do with the inevitable infrequent exploitation of vulnerable people by determined predators than the culture of denial and failure to address the issue by the aid organisations concerned.

Indeed but a miserable failure of management doesn't mean that anyone with boots on the ground should feel cowed or embarrassed.

Before this gets out of hand, AFAIK he works with animals as his day job and volunteer job. Again AFAIK he has a normal job and a volunteer one.

Just to be clear, as its still rumbling on, my original comment was very tongue in cheek.
