Hi,
I recently came across an old credit note relating to a snow and rock ski boot fit guarantee dating back to 07. There doesn’t seem to be anything written on the note limiting the time the credit note remains valid. I also have a copy of the fit guarantee for a different pair of ski boots purchased in the same transaction which also doesn’t mention an expiry date for the credit note. Snow and Rock are claiming their credit notes remain valid for only one year, but have not provided any documentation to back this assertion. My question is, is there any statutory reason/time limit limiting the time validity of the note or ability to claim against them for failing to honour it. See images of note and guarantee linked. Thanks Jim |

They either couldn't or it was too much trouble and paid up. If I were a betting man, I'd say the latter, given the size of the business and (comparatively, to them) small amount of money being argued over. Either way, leads to the result you were looking for!
