On my way to work this morning I was double flashed by a camera on the M3 Northbound just before J2 whilst a 40 mph variable speed limit was in place.

I was doing between 55-60 mph, as were all of the other cars around me. The camera flashed me from behind so I instantly presumed I was caught speeding. I checked my speed compared to everyone else and like I've already said, I was going roughly the same speed as everyone else.

Within a couple seconds of this, another car behind me was also flashed. They were clearly doing the same sort of speed as me and everyone else.

I've been flashed by this camera before, but only from the front and never from behind.

Is it likely that I'll be getting a speeding fine for this?

Thanks!

Yes.

But only a 14 day wait for the registered keeper will confirm.

Which is completely impossible, HADECS3 can only flash from the rear.

Did you get a NIP when a camera flashed you on the M3 last month?

As mentioned in this thread and your previous thread these cameras can't flash you as you approach them.

Well maybe they can but you'd have to be travelling the wrong way down the motorway, at which point a speeding allegation is the least of your problems.
