Hello Experts,

I received a PCN for stopping on a Bus stop. The PCN is dated 11/12/2017 however due to change in address I got to know about it in only Oct 2018 through bailiffs. I put in out of time application with TEC which resulted in revocation of enforcement action. Now I wish to see if there is any option to challenge the original PCN.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Well it's a properly marked bus stop.
Driver's door is open, what were you doing?
And could you post the rest of the PCN pls.
They served it in time but let us check all the wording.

Post the other pages of the PCN, use imgur.com to host them if you run out of space on here.

@ DancingDad - I think I stopped to drop my partner and got down for a minute to open the boot (obviously a mistake on my part).

@ peterguk - Yes, it is linked to my previous post.

Thanks for providing imgur link. Here is rest of pcn: https://imgur.com/a/YKhSJiX

I have to say, given all the circumstances, the discount seems like a good option.

It is clear you do not understand the restrictions or, indeed the signs and road markings that delineate a restricted bus stop. The particular bus stops, now found throughout the UK have a No Stopping restriction except for buses, so even alighting passengers is not allowed. These are now ruthlessly enforced in London in particular, not so much outside London. Their placement is being widely abused. One particular one on the outskirts of Congleton on the A534 only has a bus every hour, during the day and none in the early hours, so it is difficult to see why double yellow lines have not been used instead.

I would have appreciated a helpful response on this rather than making judgements about my understanding of road signs/restrictions, which I am fully aware of.

Well strictly speaking you could ask them to exercise discretion to cancel, but given the lack of any real mitigation, and knowing what London councils are like, they are virtually certain to reject. It would buy you a bit more time, so it's really down to whether you want a bit more time to pay, or whether you'd rather get it over and done with so it's out of the way.
