I am trying to build a library of all the PePiPoo cases that have had happy endings, be it written confirmation or timed out.

Can all users post the link to their (or any other cases they know about) threads so a database can be made up. Once I have a list I will edit this post and update it as and when required.

Not that we get them that often, but when the trolls appear on the site and start having a go, it would be nice to point them in the direction of people who have "had a go" and came out unscathed.

Cheers.

Stevie; S172 (members only). The accused was stopped on the highway, and a verbal S172 was made in respect of an alleged offence some three hours earlier. It appears that it was not proved to the court's satisfaction that the accused's vehicle was the one involved in the alleged offence.

Result! Following the sending of the PACE statement, back in April, the scammers didn't bother with even ONE measly B&B letter let alone a summons. Timed out!

More power to Pepipoo and long may this loophole be open!!!

Result. Snapped in Scotland in March, went unsigned. Lots of bluff and bluster from D&G, I ignored it all.

Now timed out. :-)

My mate (no link)!  PACE statement submitted to Cheshire Constabulary.  The police wrote back with threats to charge him with s.172 unless he completed their form.  He didn't, was sent a COFP  rolleyes.gif , which he duly declined.  Timed-out.

Chrispyperson & Wife's Subsection 4 - Unsure of driver defence

A very 'thin' thread, but a success story anyway - Chrispyperson broke the mould and clearly did lots of research from the site to defend himself in court succesfully whilst managing to not ask many questions at all.

(Slightly off-topic? normasnockers biggrin.gif : SORN fine and extra tax reversed by DVLA - it seemed to be their fault. Persistence won through in the end.)
