Hello,
Is it possible to appeal this ticket. It's in a free car park and the car only went over two spaces as the space to the right looks unusable due to the work fence taking up some of the space. Thanks in advance. It's from UKPC who are a member of the BPA. This post has been edited by insignia: Sun, 10 Feb 2019 - 14:17 |

Has this already been covered in another thread?
They will want you money and nothing will deter them. So pictures of the redacted PCN, leaving dates, and the signs and location of signs. Was it a windscreen ticket? At least tell us something about it. May have to leave it to court and use a de minimis argument in that nothing was lost. Edit: Yes you did post on another site, legal beagles, and you haven't acted on the suggestions there. This post has been edited by ostell: Sun, 10 Feb 2019 - 09:50 |

Hello,
Sorry I posted this on another forum too. Not acted on anything as you said send a letter to them which arrives on the 26th day since the PCN. This post has been edited by insignia: Sun, 10 Feb 2019 - 11:53 |

So, on both sites, lets have pictures of the PCN and the signs that you could see. If it's only a Windscreen PCN at the moment then find a thread about the same and submitting an appeal before the 28 days are up.

Ok no worries I'll get you photos today. And post them in both threads.

Hello again,
Just been to the car park where the PCN was issued and there are warning signs everywhere. Below is a link to some of the photos I took. And one of the PCN itself. This post has been edited by insignia: Sun, 10 Feb 2019 - 14:16 |

If you were only there for 10 mins you could add to your list of appeal points that you have to be given 10 mins grace time to decide whether to use the carpark. I can see it is free, but the 10 mins grace time could possibly still apply.

Edit your post so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred, all of the posts and on legal beagles.
OK, those signs are prohibiting. There is no offer to park for those not authorised and therefore there can be no contract to park and therefore there can be no breaches of a contract that cannot exist. Any charge is an unallowable penalty. So appeal AS THE KEEPER so that the appeal arrives with them on day 26 after parking. You appeal that the signage, which you have travelled to view, is forbidding and cannot possibly create a contract. The signage is not visibly obvious from the alleged location of parking. You give your name and address but vary it slightly so that it is not the same as what appears on the V5 (but still deliverable). The will respond to your appeal and give you a POPLA code and also hopefully not issue a Notice to keeper. From the address on the letter you will be able to determine if they have contacted the DVLA. You then appeal to POPLA at the last possible moment and state that UKPC have not issued a Notice to Keeper within the relevant period (56 days) and have not contacted the DVLA and therefore no keeper liability. You could go into The Range and complain, especially if you bought something, but The Range normally can't be arsed |

Take down all your links. ID is possible on your chosen host. Either change the name or use a host like TinyPics where you can copy the [img] tags directly into this thread.
