Parking Prankster seems to have some good connections in his latest blog.
http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk I cannot imagine that VCS will want anyone to see this contract (assuming PP has it correct!) If it is correct then it is a slam-dunk win at POPLA/Court. I wonder of the same or similar contract applies at Robin Hood Airport? I do believe that a very similar contract applies (with a commission payment) applies at the Royal Armouries Leeds. |

As you turn off the main road you drive along a road with a bus lane in the left lane, you then come to a roundabout and there is another road with a bus lane taking you to a further roundabout where the hire car pound is and the entrance to the car parks. The two roads with the bus lane are almost definitely council run, all the signs are as you would expect in the traffic signs manual and even the lamposts have the council identifying numbers on them, So the only road I would say they should be operation on is just the one in front of the airport. I drop people off here fairly regular and am picking someone up on Wednesday. If I get time I will try and get a few pictures. I may park in the short stay and wander around for half an hour, probably get arrested for taking pictures, might have to get a hi viz with PEPIPOO.COM on the back. |
