Hey all,
So recently I've received a PCN for not paying the parking fee (despite the fact I looked for a machine to pay for 5+ minutes and couldn't find one, so ignored it assuming they don't require paying anymore). Today, I wanted to pay it (even though I don't agree, blegh.) However, their site seems to be down, and paying via phone or post adds on extra fees, and I don't want to agree to that as it's not my fault their site is down. I wanted to appeal, but the reference number I have on the PCN does not work with the site they provided. Should I just completely ignore this? Nothing seems to work. I can provide the sites they list on the other site - I'm just unsure if it's against the rules or not. Cheers |

QUOTE CP Plus Site Down, Can't pay ticket Good! Of course you don't pay this! It's a railway Penalty but from CP Plus, and if you simply send them the template from the MSE NEWBIES thread they will cancel within weeks. Saw one like it only last month. If the system for appealing it is down, complain to Steve Clark at the BPA: steve.c@britishparking.co.uk obviously NEVER NEVER saying who was driving. |

But send the template as late as possible
The strategy with Railway Penalty Notices is to drag them out until it's too late for any prosecution |

I sent out an email to Steve Clark, and you've put my mind at ease. Other than waiting for a response from him, I literally cannot do anything about this charge. |

Update:
I've got a response saying they can forward my email to CP Plus for them to get in touch with me. Should I do that? |

Yes, but leave it for a few days to use up a little more time on your way to a byelaw timeout.
