PCN in Redbridge, Gants Hill Roundabout Options

Hi Guys,

Just need to check if I am bang-to-rites here.

I parked near gants hill in redbridge roundabout in a pay as you go bay before 8.30am to get some bread from the tesco express.

I went to get a FREE 30 minute ticket, but on the machine, the message came up as that i did not need one as it was before 8.30am.

Came back to the car after a few minutes and it was PCN'd.

Redbridge cancelled the PCN!!!! Another Win for the motorist!!!!

I still can't believe you're so surprised at such an easy one.

This case is where you see the real wickedness of some authorities displayed. They give a load of untruthful waffle, essentially gaming the system, to get the motorist to cough up relying on the fact that most people receive PCNs so seldom they have a touching faith in the council being right. Frankly, I want to see council people in jail.Until we see a few successful prosecutions for malfeasance, this sort of thing will go on, and on, and on.

Fortunately this forum "frustrates their knaveish tricks". Thank Goodness !!

I totally agree with you - they have no compassion, do not want to understand your specific circumstances... they just want your money by hook or by crook, absolute hustlers!
