Pay or defend.

Without details we can’t say a lot more.

Is it your parking space?

How much are they claiming! How is it broken down?

What does your lease say about parking?

Acknowledge the claim using the details and password on the form. Nothing in the defence. This gives you 33 days to get your defence to the court.

So SAR to the parking company requesting all the documents they have about you and you car

Letter to solicitor requesting all the documents that they intend to use in court to reduce the issues between you, as expected by the courts. You require this by return and in any case within 7 days. Use first class nail and a free certificate of posting from any post off9ce.

the letter is exactly like the thread from username Hihun111 : Topic has attachmentsClaim form received from One Parking Solution. I cant seem to upload my image for some reason. Its a residential parking area, you do need a permit. I do have the permit for it. Sometime they just dish out fines for fun, I see it on different cars plenty of time.

You post pictures on an external site such as imgur and link to it from here.

Just to confirm you have a claim form from Northampton. What is this letter you mention?

Do 1Park have the authority to operate on the land?

Who says you need a permit?

It would help if you answered the questions.

All residents were given a permit to park from our landlord.

Is this the first you’ve heard or did you ignore notices?

Never bin them.

Subject a SAR immediately to get what they have on you - there could be more claims in the pipeline. (This is unlikely to help the current claim)

NO!!!!

You have NOT listened tothe advice so far

you disagree with teh claim
Only make a counter claim if you have a reason to claim against them, for example breach of the data protection act
DO NOT ENTER ANYTHING AT ALL IN THE DEFENCE, as you were told explicitly.
Tell us the DATE OF ISSUE of the claim form. Once the AOS is submitted you will have 33 days from this date, unless you acknowledged quicker than 5 days from DATE OF ISSUE in which case you have 28 plus number of days since you acknowledged.

you will not get any reminders of this deadline. Miss it and you lose. You will be submitting your claim using a PDF over EMAIL, not a paper or online form

Answer all the damned questions please. Was a permit on display? What does your LEASE state? Confirm you have sent a SAR DIRECTLY to the PPC using their DAta COntrollers email address, found on their website.

MSE Forum -> Parking -> Newbies thread -> Post 2. Read it. UNderstand it. Read it again. It gives 17 example defences, and you WILL be able to find commonalities with your case in there. G'teed.
