My 20 year old daughter received 2 parking tickets from National Clamps whilst parked at Clarence Docks in Leeds, she was ticketed on December 30th and again on December 31st.
To cut a long story short the car was out of petrol she was 200 mile from home, skint and took a long time to move the car.
She foolishly ignored the tickets which she could have paid at £40.00 each
The tickets are now double and they have also incurred a an extra £ 40.00 each for D.V.L.A invoice production correspondence.
I have today phoned them and desperately tried to persuade them to let me pay them at £40.00 each.
They are very unhelpful and warned that the tickets will continue to increase.
Have I got any way of fighting them or are they allowed to do this .
Thank You.
Jackie.

What I'd like to see police/local authorities do is deal with important issues and not these sorts of victimless crimes when society is riddled with problems.

If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

You never posted in wrong place this is the right place for help!

It sounds like ur tickets r private tickets not council tickets.... Almost all these tickets r a scam.... don't pay till you let us look at ticket...

If you have access to scanner, scan the ticket and corrospondance in and we will give an opinion on it...
