Good day everyone.
My vehicle is leased and usualy leasing company pays the fines. This time around they have let the fines go my way. It goes to a shared property and since the company name was spelt differently on the letters i was left on the floor for ages. We only used to use it for the postal purposes of our company.
So here I am looking on 9 tickets whitch i technicaly recived on the same day. Or made aware of.
I do not use the tunnel very often (but used it friquently yers ago) so did not pay attension to the 2T sign, espessialy looking at all the large van drivers happyly driving in it at the same time as I.
Is there anything could be done?

1. company name spelt diferently on the letters
2. Vehicle is Navara gross 3.5t 4x4

Oldest PCN date 31st May so you have little time to get your representations in. Can you elaborate on the mis-spelling, is it trivial or substantial?

"Vehicle is Navara gross 3.5t 4x4"

It's way over the 2t limit. Are there other better signed 2t limits that you do see and act on.

Why would it be a 'goods vehicle' and not a 'dual purpose' vehicle? If a dual purpose why would you look for weight restrictions on goods vehicles?

The company name is ENKO, They spelt ENcO on a few of the letters. I have left the company name on the letters attached.

This I dont know. If I could claim it to be a dual purpose vehicle, that would be usefull?

With regards to the few PCNs with a misspelt company name, I can’t see how these can be enforced against a company that doesn’t exist?

GSV isn't particularly helpful as it shows the signage dated May 2018, which has MGW 17.5T heading north, along with ehight and width restrictions. I know there's a 2 T limit and the entrance has been altered to make it very difficult for anything big to get through the barriers.

Good day.
The time is ticking and I do not have much time left for an appeal. I would pay someone to drought an appeal letter for me if it makes sense to appeal. Following a few other posts for the same contravention, but it helps me very little.
Anyone? Please!

Use the representation here http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1493542 just adapt the details to your case.

This doesn't make happy reading:-
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showto...t&p=1494365

Personally, I would suggest that the sign you saw related to a goods vehicle with a weight limit. In the time it took you to read the sign you were convinced that the restriction related to goods vehicles (lorries) not your vehicle. This won't do you much good given Houghton's comments but you must put something together as to why you kept going through the Tunnel. You must then group the PCNs together and argue that the cumulative penalties in your case would be excessive and unfair and ask TfL to cancel all but the 1st.

Others will comment on the technicalities.

Mick

Do a search here if you have not checked the v5c

https://ww1.vehicleinformation.uk/search4?t...ASAAEgJQKPD_BwE

it will cost a few pence but might be worth it

definition of dual use
