Hi,
I've wondered this a few times. When there are roadworks and a temporary limit is in force, it often extends well outside the area where actual work is being carried out. I can see the point for approaching traffic to make sure everyone is slowed down in plenty of time. But for traffic that's left the affected area heading the other way, is there a specific reason to keep the limit in place for some distance? Or is it just that it's not possible to set the limit on one direction only. Thanks, Tony S |

Could be any number of reasons.
Often to allow for the roadworks to move further along |
