I got a PPC, ignored it as advised on here and have now been sent the NtK
I've tried using the decision tree, but I'm a little stuck I'm thinking I need to make a soft appeal - but what do I say? Let me know if you need to see the original PPC and NtK |

No need to show the fake PCN or NTK. As long as this was in England/Wales, here's what to do and how:
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showto...mp;gopid=874216 HTH and do not ignore the power of customer COMPLAINTS! This post has been edited by SchoolRunMum: Sun, 6 Oct 2013 - 21:51 |

I'm even more confused now
The majority of the 'templates' aka advice what to write, seem to be for the 2nd appeal Are there any examples of what to write after getting the NtK? |

Hi 13131
You could try something like this "Dear Sirs I am writing to challenge your parking charge notice XYZ/123 issued to vehicle XYZ/123 on XX/XX/2013. Your charge is punitive and so is unenforceable under contract. I require you to either cancel the charge or provide me with a POPLA code so that I can refer the matter to POPLA for independent arbitration. Yours faithfully" Regards MMM |

Ok, I've got my letter stating my appeal had been refused
What's the next step? Need anymore details? According to the decision tree I now don't do anything... is that right?! |

Did they give you a POPLA code? #Is that the 10 digit verification code? Yup - check your code was issued correctly - here. Then start forming your appeal - remember to get the key points in that will win. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver
PoFA=Protection of Freedoms Act, SAC=Safety Awareness Course, NIP=Notice of Intended Prosecution, ADR=Alternative Dispute Resolution PPC=Private Parking Company, LBCCC=Letter Before County Court Claim, PII=Personally Identifiable Information, SAR=Subject Access Request Private Parking - remember, they just want your money and will say almost anything to get it. |

I think it is correct, the letter was issued on the 9th and the mid number is 282 Is there a guide for writing the POPLA appeal? |

Here you go:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showth...81&posted=1 Please show us where the 'decision tree' seemed to suggest that you would DO NOTHING when you have your golden ticket of a POPLA code? If so then it's wrong because this is where you now win. |

I've had a Keeper Liability Notice (KLN) > The driver appealed and was not successful = "Since the appeal was not successful, there is no further appeal by the Keeper. Best to keep all papers and wait to see if the PPC attempts either to put the matter with a Debt Collector or to try the Small Claims Court. If either of these happens, go back to the start and follow those threads." This post has been edited by 13131: Tue, 15 Oct 2013 - 18:17 |
