I jumped a red light by mistake it was empty due to current situation, i was driving normal speed 25-30MPH. This happend on Cromwell Road passing exhibition Road going towards harrods. Just before exhibition road there is a first set of normal traffic lights which were green as i passed exhinition road there was a second set of shutter lights which i didnt notice were red and i passed them and continued on cromwell road. At first possinle u turn i went back to check if there were any cameras on traffic lights or anywhere else and couldnt find any other than a tall small ball black camera facing another way. I never had any points or fines for red light or speeding and im worried! Would anyone happen to know if i could be in trouble as its usually a busy place as its just by natural history museum. Link to live camera - facing other way trafficdelays.co.uk/exhibition-road-cromwell-road-london-cctv-traffic-cameras/ Pics - from google maps thank you 1 more google pic 1 more google pic |

That is a CCTV camera and isn't used to enforce red light offences. Unless you were see by a police officer at the scene I can't see anything happening.

Or unless seen and reported by someone with a dashcam.

'Appens.
Shouldn't but does. Don't lose any sleep over it, there are better (worse?) things to worry on at the moment. Should you get a notice from the Old Bill about it, come back and someone will help you deal with it. Worst case assuming you deal with it properly, 3 points and a hundred quid fine (or thereabouts). |
