Hello guys
I have a question id like to ask. Ok so on the 16th of april I think I may have been caught speeding by a mobile camera van ( yes my own fault). I don't really go over speed limits but on this particular day id had some pretty bad news and was in a rush to get home. Think I may have been doin a maximum of 90mph in a 60mph zone (The A141). The date of when I was speeding was as stated above the 16th april, today the 8th of may and I have had nothing in the post. Yes I was at fault but am now bricking it. What should I expect? Any advice guys |

Then unless it's been lost in the post then you appear to have escaped. They have 14 days to get the NIP to the registered keeper.

I'm nervously waiting for the post every day. |

As above, it’s no good being in your name if the address is wrong, we have a significant number of cases where people neglect to change the V5C when they move, or it’s got a subtly incorrect address.

Hope you're clear. I got flashed on motorway going about 96mph. Not sure if it was in a 60 zone though. I'm not 100pc sure of speed or what the speed limit was. Cam cope with fine and points. Can't cope with a ban. If I get a NIP in the post I'll see what it says and get a solicitor if necessary.

First time I've been here. Are you guys ex police/solicitors ? So far as I’m aware the vast majority of posters are neither. Never take legal advice from the police. -------------------- Moderator

As long as you haven't moved house recently and the car has been registered at your address for a while you should be fine (it sometimes takes a while for their records to be updated).
