Hi All,

The driver received a very dodgy Parking Charge Notice from PCN Parking Solutions. they did park at the given address but there arent any visible signs of parking charges or payment machines at the location. A small sign which directs you to a dodgy website asking you to put in your credit/debit card details with your pin code ( wasnt happy to put card details )

Attched is the PCN , please advise. Should the driver pay it , Ignore it or contest it?

Thank you in advance!

The period of parking is not clear. How long was the vehicle 'parked'?

Sounds like the contract was rejected and the driver left?

They have not issued a court claim to date.

It's Regent Parking (not PCN Parking Solutions, they just issue PCN, do the admin).

https://theipc.info/aos-members/r

Useless IPC member, as per usual, so the keeper can ignore them unless they try a small claim.

No appeal will work. No-one here would pay this, though (course not - don't fund them). Please read any PCN threads where the operator is in the IPC, and the advice is standard.

I would not park at such a dodgy site.

Thank you so much for the prompt reply! Will ignore any letters. Does one need to contest this to avoid creditors/debt collectors knocking on one's door?

No-one ever knocks on anyone's door.

Like any IPC scam PCN, these have to be defended at court but cannot be won on appeal because the system is a kangaroo court.

But as Jlc said:

Thank you! Is it safe to ignore this letter? There is a hand car wash company there who say they can sort out the parking if you get your car washed from them

Also Edit your post and remove anything that may ID the driver, only refer to "the driver" did this or that.

ANd take down the picture and remove identifying details like VRM and repost. Pictures of the signs would be nice.

Has the keeper complained rto TESO, assuming that they were a customer?
