[attachment=61073:2.JPG]Hi all
I've received a NTO having appealed the PCN issued for being parked in a loading place during restricted hours. I must say i fully expected to win the appeal and rather surprised when the rejection letter arrived. I appealed on the basis that the signage was insufficient, i took photographs of the vehicle with the PCN still attached befpre driving away. The sign nearest my vehicle, which they reference in the rejection notice as being 2 metres behind my vehicle, which it was...is sideways facing, on a bent post and obscured by a tree. Should i now submit my representation on "other grounds" and essentially appeal on the same basis? Attached two of the photos. Thanks in advance, Billy. Right there between the grit bin and the tree. Entrance to the area is behind. There is a sign at entry and one on a wall either side of the area that i could see. And the wonky sign behind my vehicle of course. Will upload PCN, appeal etc now. |

GSV is old. I guess the PCN is a code 02 so will depend on condition of yellow lines.

PCN is a code 70. I appealed on the basis the yellow lines are almost gone also. Can't find rejection letter right now but basically said lines didn't matter the sign was behind my vehicle.
condition of the yellow lines and the sign are still as shown on GSV. |

Billy_Morgan009 please upload both sides of the PCN in full, redact the number plate only. Also upload the rejection letter, redacting just name and address. There can be issues in the small print which, with the best will in the world, you won't be able to spot without our help.
The issue also arises as to whether a relevant off-street order is in force and whether the correct location is quoted on the PCN. Quite aside form the fact that there doesn't appear to be a terms & conditions board that you would pass. Code 70 is off street parking, ie a car park or similar
Which this seems to be, a loading area. And clearly signed at the entrance if streetview is accurate https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.5161448,-...3312!8i6656 We really need to see the PCN challenge and rejection, this looks like technical issues will be needed, IMO the wonky sign will not. I've found it but having trouble with the maximum upload size now. I've thought to stick it in Dropbox but work laptop is blocking my access to the site so going to have to try it on mobile. Stand by.
Thanks for all replies thus far. Billy. |

Evening
Alas i do not think i have. It was an online submission. Should have copied and pasted into a word doc with hindsight. Esentially though i appealed in the basis of a poor quality sign, wonky and obscured by a tree. And the fact that the yellow lines are almost entirely faded away. Billy |

Ah yes sorry, at first glance it wasn't obvious how to view the other pages. I can't see any faults on the NtO though.

I shall just have to submit my representation based on the signage being insufficient and suck it up when they reject it again.
