Is the driver Uk or European?
If UK I hope the traffic commissioner revokes their HGV license -------------------- All advice is given freely. It is given without guarantee and responsibility for its use rests with the user

Is the driver Uk or European? It's noticeable that none of the news sources has any more detail than the video and the very limited information Staffs Police have deigned to share. Such is the woeful state of local reporting nowadays. -------------------- Regards,

Such is the woeful state of local reporting nowadays. If you look at the Get<name-your-county-here> websites, most of the reporting is regurgitating press releases from the local police, council, etc., or sitting in the local magistrates court and reporting on the cases that come up there. |

I saw a bit more of the footage. The lorry went down the slip-road the wrong way. If that were a genuine mistake then the only thing to do would be to stop and call the police for assistance in getting out safely rather than what he actually did.
For once we actually see that in a proper justice system the more risk he put people at, the bigger the sentence. Doing the same manouevre on a motorcycle for example should certainly attract points on the licence and a fine but a far lesser sentence. |

Actually he came up the slip road, did a u at the top went back down the wrong way. |

which makes it worse as it clearly wasn't an accidental wrong turn.
