Took a friend to their doctors was in a rush so drove straight in doctors carpark. Waited in the carpark for them (not realising you have to enter your car registration into a system inside the surgery to get a permit for the carpark). Friend came out went straight to the pharmacy next door and didnt mention this to me. Recieved a pcn from civil enforcement a few days later. As advised ignored the letter and recieved follow up letters from zzps, QDR solicitors. Ignored those and have now recieved a county court claim form from northampton. Am going to dispute the claim and want to prepare a defense, am also going to get some sort of proof from the doctors to show i used the carpark for the right reasons e.g time of appointment. Am needing help in how to approach this and what to write ect. Have bin looking at other forums and threads but the wording of things totally confuses me. Any help would be very much appreciated.

The advice hasn't been to ignore for ages. CEL are easy to beat prior to a court claim.

Your claim should make no reference to the driver. I suggest you read a few recent CEL threads to get the gist and come back with specific questions.

Oh, you're also in the wrong part of the forum. Your case is completed yet. Hit the '! Report' button and ask for your thread to be moved to the private parking part of the forum.

Private Parking - remember, they just want your money and will say almost anything to get it.

Rubbish

They can nearly all be adapted

When defending CEL claims, you attack their behaviour and fake charges so hard that whatever the driver did hardly needs a mention
