Tried several times to complete the NIP wizard now. It either seems to output rubbish, or if I complete the additional questions it claims to produce a post in the forum that never appears.

So. Sussex constabulary. A24 Shipley, West Grinstead, UK. Alledged 73 in a 60 limit.
Car is mine, registered to me, no questions there.
Alledged offence date 10/09/2020
NIP dated 11/09/2020
NIP received 12/09/2020 Posted first class.

Checked on Sussex public access. two relevant photos. First shows the car with the crosshairs on the windscreen, speed of 73, but registration is obscured. Second shows the registration but no speed. They look like grabs from a video, so I assume the video exists showing it to be the same car.

Nothing exciting, just wanted to check that 73 in a 60 is still in criteria for a SAC. I know it's not guaranteed, but I'm hoping it's likely. Guessing there's no point in delaying sending back the S172 naming myself, in fact better to get it in soon and hope the SAC is offered.

Ta.

Well, I deleted 10 identical posts from you, so there’s that...

Assuming this is a mobile camera van, then these will indeed be frames from a continuous video.

The limit for as SAC in a 60 is 74, so you should get the offer unless you've done one in the last 3 years.

Not quite sure what happened there. I've used the NIP wizard before and never had it spit that sort of error out before! No known compatibility issues with any browser is there?

Never done one. Glad to be (just) in to the SAC-zone though. Are they currently being done online or in person?

Presumably that's the same guidelines as I'm expecting: +10%+2 mph for enforcement and +10%+9 for SAC.

As +10%+9 in a 60 is 75, I'm assuming that's the highest speed eligible for a SAC, hence 75 would be SAC offer, and 76 would be FPN.

That's not pedantry, it's arithmetic. This is pedantry. wink.gif
