Hello, I think I have got caught speeding going 42-45 mile per hour in a 30 zone. I have been on a speed awareness two years ago but no further points. What am I looking at in terms of a points and fine? I have read chance of disqualification would this be likely?

Thanks can someone explain what these bands a,b and c are about and how come it won't be a class b? Any clarification would be appreciated.

Bands A B and C are in the sentancing guidelines for court, if it doesn’t go to court for any reason they are as relevant as the colour of the sky.
42 would just qualify for a course, upto 50 (55 for some forces) would be a fixed penalty, no court, no sentancing guidelines used. -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!
