I'm interested to know what are the chances of success at Tribunal if I received a parking ticket for parking on the thinner line below? I haven't parked down there yet, but it's really handy for the new BH2 Cinema complex (whenever it reopens).
The double lines are at the bottom of Exeter Crescent Bournemouth. https://www.google.com/maps/@50.7186446,-1....6384!8i8192 This is the TRO, and I've marked the spot with a red X. Thanks in advance |

They look to be legal, width can be 50,75 or 100mm

Virtually nil chance of getting a PCN overturned on the basis the lines aren’t compliant - they clearly are.

It may be on private land in that bit but you'd be mad to park there. What's wrong with the car park.

I do normally park in the car park and have never parked on a double yellow I was just interested to know if the thinner lines were compliant as I have never seen them before. I was given a ticket on the other side of that road where there are no double yellow lines as indicated by the red X below. I was dropping my partner off who was in a wheel chair. When I came back I got a ticket stating no loading. |

If you have a PCN for assisting a disabled person to alight then post it here we can fight that, for that matter you are allowed to alight passengers on a yellow line and you can assist a vulnerable person to a safe location -------------------- All advice is given freely. Ticket from?
Looking at those photos I suspect that bit of road is private land and the normal rules don’t apply. -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!

The section of the road where I was given a ticket didn't have ANY lines. Therefore, notwithstanding what the TRO states, I don't see how the ticket can be valid. The fact I was dropping my disabled partner would almost seem to be a red herring. |

We still don’t know if it’s a council or private ticket so anything is speculation until he can be bothered to tell us. -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!
