Help needed,

I have just come back from touring Europe to find a bus lane fine letter.

Date PCN issued 8/5/2019

Date of alleged offence 16/12/2018

Almost impossible to see if its my car from picture let alone registration.

So more than 28 days also I dont believe i was in the bus lane for more than 20 meters but not sure how to go about writing a response to appeal?

Any help is much appreciated.

You can blank them if you want. Is the address correct on the PCN?

As it stands it's way out of time. But you need to appeal it now as I think you're almost out of time yourself.

Has you changed address between the two dates and updated the v5c in that time frame?

Also post all other pages of the pCN

Does it? I've never noticed that wording.

On the back it says 'docref' in at least two places, with a date following. What is that date?

There ya go.

So 28 days unlikely to be of use as original PCN went to previous owner.

----
Lot of duff wording on that PCN though.

Calculate and tell us what you believe the payment deadlines and reps deadline are.

I am explaining but I'm reliant on your help.

Admittedly I forgot to explain that the PCN is deemed 'served' two working days after posting.

With that I just need you to read the PCN and tell me the 14 and 28 day deadlines.

so PCN issue date 8/5/19 so served date 10th/5/19? 14 days 24th/5/19 and 28 days 7th/6/19 is that what you are asking if so does that make it in time? and i have no case?

Yep -- and that's calculated correctly according to what the PCN tells you.
But that wording on the PCN is wrong.

I'm short of time but I'll try and explain as soon as I can. Or others will.
