The incident was reported at 22:25. It was dark and I was driving along a lane next to a bus lane. The was a crossroad coming up and a road sign showed that I needed to turn left to get to my destination. It wasn't clear where the bus lane ended, especially as it was dark so I turned left onto the left lane so that I could turn left. Not sure if it's relevant but it was at 22:25, when I imagine no buses were running and I've had no previous driving charges against my name. I'm not sure whether it's worth appeal this and any advice would be much appreciated.

OP---- you look bang to rights on this one.
About here?- https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.5945358,-...3312!8i6656 Lutterworth Road is long so the only real issue could be "vague location" SVW probably stands for Soar Valley Way but how would a non local know that? In other words the PCN has to tell you where the contravention took place and if Lutterworth Road has a series of bus lanes they have not done so adequately IMO. Not a strong ground and my advice is to pay at the discount. Mick |

Mick +1 It's worth adding that this PCN is issued under the Civil Law and has no link to criminal driving offences like speeding etc, so don't worry yourself on this score. |
