Hi, I'm after some advice please.
We visited London yesterday - we don't know London and were reliant on the sat nav. and whilst driving along Holborn, I needed to take some medication - I am a disabled driver. To take the medication I needed some food and stopped on Holborn near to a McDonald's. Having got the food I was worried about staying too long on the main Holborn road. It was around 9pm dark and raining. We noticed a side street a few yards behind us and thought it would be safer to reverse into the top of the side street have the food and medication rather than stay on the main road. I reversed left into the side street (furnival street) and stopped immediately on the left side of the road (just off the junction) Having stopped, my son immediately noticed numerous cameras behind us pointing at the junction that I had reversed into. I drove out straight away but am worried that I may have been caught on the cameras and will be in trouble. I have google mapped the junction and can see there is only one 'no entry except cycles' sign, but this is on the far side of the junction that I could not see when I reversed. Please advise me your thoughts. |

You may find you get a council PCN through post.
In London, cameras abound and councils use them to cop anyone they can. If you do, pop into the council forum, post up the PCN and we'll see what we can do. I assume that vehicle registered to you and registration document V5c is up to date with correct address ? Important as that is where the PCN will go. They have up to 28 days to serve the PCN |
