A trip to court guaranteed.
Likely outcome 1 week's relevant earnings plus 10% on top for surcharge (min £30). Also, costs of £85. 6 points is likely but a short ban (1-2 months) will be considered. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver
PoFA=Protection of Freedoms Act, SAC=Safety Awareness Course, NIP=Notice of Intended Prosecution, ADR=Alternative Dispute Resolution PPC=Private Parking Company, LBCCC=Letter Before County Court Claim, PII=Personally Identifiable Information, SAR=Subject Access Request Private Parking - remember, they just want your money and will say almost anything to get it. |

If they’re going to ban you they will insist on you attending.

6 points is likely but a short ban (1-2 months) will be considered. To be honest, at that speed, I think its the other way round and that a short ban is more likely. -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!

Probably - a ton isn't an 'automatic ban', we have seen 6 points at that excess (and more) but perhaps it would be wise to assume a short ban and see points as a good result. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver

How long have you had your licence for? The answer to this question is important. If you first passed a driving test less than two years ago you may be looking at a slightly different outcome. The question was probably asked because you mentioned "education". This post has been edited by NewJudge: Fri, 20 Apr 2018 - 16:03 |
