Hi all,

Does anyone know if these record the front number plate or the back number plate? The back would seem more logical, to include motorcycles, but the ones I've seen on traffic lights seem to be pointing in the same direction as the lights, so seemingly looking at oncoming traffic and front number plates, and getting no information on motorcycles.

The answer is both! There's a FB anti-ULEZ group which "deals with" cameras on a regular basis. A lot of them seem to be taking pictures of grass or the sky. But the remaining upright members take pics of front and rear.

Edited to add if it's any help, that group are reporting the ULEZ mobile camera vans have been withdrawn due to a lack of SIA licences held by their staff.
