Today I received a letter addressed to my deceased mother from my community healthcare services notifying her of a new provider for wheelchair service. My mother passed away 20 years ago.
Basically, it seems that this wheelchair service has been farmed out by the NHS Trust to a new private provider since it would appear that the Clinical Commissioning Group invited organisations to tender to provide the new service. This makes me wonder how many dead people are included in the figures submitted for tender when it comes to fiddling Govt money for the various health service outsourcing operations and what I should do next? My deceased mother is being asked to respond to the letter by either agreeing or disagreeing with her patient data being transferred to the new service provider. Comments welcome. Indeed, you are dead on........
A thing that many people aren't aware of is that death can be fatal - once! |
