Hi not sure if you have a section for this if not perhaps you can redirect me.
Years ago I had one of the first satnavs on the market and in the bottom corner it had the speed for the road I was on and the speed I was doing if I went over the speed for that road there would be an audible alarm and flash.

I have a car now with built in satnav so my question is, is there anything I can buy that just has the speed warning system as per this old sat nav?

Road Angel? See here.

There's some smart phone apps too - others will surely chip in.

RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver
PoFA=Protection of Freedoms Act, SAC=Safety Awareness Course, NIP=Notice of Intended Prosecution, ADR=Alternative Dispute Resolution
PPC=Private Parking Company, LBCCC=Letter Before County Court Claim, PII=Personally Identifiable Information

Private Parking - remember, they just want your money and will say almost anything to get it.

The Here smartphone app does that (as do the manufacturers' built-in satnavs that use it, eg those from the VW Group).
