A family have recently moved into a house near me and park there car on a double yellow lines in front of the house every day about 2 meters before a busy roundabout. A ticket is slapped on the windscreen every single day and this has been the case for the last 6 weeks. I highly doubt she's paying them as I think she's on benefits.
Sorry I'm not asking for any serious advice for myself but need to kill the curiosity so I can stop scratching my head. What are the likely consequences of constantly ignoring council issued parking tickets in this manner? This post has been edited by Smokee: Mon, 5 Aug 2019 - 19:10 |

soon to be featured in the Daily Mail. ''single mother of four Chantelle Williams hit with massive fine just for parking outside her house'' Chantelle ''i'm a single parent, where can i find that sort of money out of my benefits?''. cue picture of five sad faces sat on a threadbare sofa. Surely even the DM wouldn’t say “sat”. Or have things really deteriorated so far? soon to be featured in the Daily Mail. Factoid: Scorpio was in my class at school, and later on in life when I looked at her website (out of curiosity) I couldn't help noticing that she was listed as being eight years younger than me. She was clearly a very gifted and 'mature-in-appearance' schoolgirl.

Check online to see if it's taxed, and report to DVLA if not.

Surely even the DM wouldn’t say “sat”. Or have things really deteriorated so far? They often use the word 'sat' when referring to a present participle, and often get reminded of the fact. |
