Hi All,

Hope you can help. A few years ago...probably about 3 years ago, a PCN was given by UK Car Park management. The owner disputed this PCN and a long time passed. I cant even remember when and what letters were exchanged as it was so long ago.

Recently I got this from them:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ce4xobl5o5zi0i1/g...stone.docx?dl=0

I have had to put it in a word doc as its loads of letters. Not really sure what this is and when I was supposed to have requested it.

Please can you advise?

It's not a form you request

It's the standard form that a claimant must send as part of the Pre-action Protocol for Debt Claims

You must reply :

I would tick Box D : I dispute the whole of the debt because please refer to previous correspondence

and Box I (Further information) : All documents that your client intends to rely on including the parking notices, all correspondence, the site plan, copies of the signs in place at the time and its contract with the land-owner

QUOTE
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. I am the registered keeper, but I was not the driver. Can I be liable for the charge?

The Criminal Case of Elliott v Loake 1983 Crim LR 36 held that the Registered Keeper of a vehicle may be presumed to have been the driver unless they sufficiently rebut this presumption.

This statement is, presumably, intended to mislead. Classy.
