Hello firstly I'm new here so I hope this goes well so bear with me please.
I parked in Middlesbrough were this was privateland owned by the above company I bought a 50p too park all day on Sunday I was there for 1 hour 34 minutes. When I came back to the car I was issued a parking fine for not having a ticket displayed on the dash board. When I looked it was on the otherside . What has happened when the door was closed it has blowen over with the velocity of wind in the car . I was angry so I sent a copy of the letter and the ticket to say I wasn't paying it they replied and said my appeal was unsuccessful and had to pay £60.00 for the fine. I was furious so rang them and they said it still stands I don't pay it then bailiffs and extra cost will apply soon. I really think that the [Mod edit] company shouldn't be able to operate and spoke to Middlesbrough council about this they said it's out of there hands if it happens on there land they would have cancelled the fine but because it's them and they have ha loads of complaints I have to take it up with them. I have since thought about taken legal advice but having a look at some forums on here I don't know were I stand. I don't know if I have a case because I have spoke to them by phone and letters and email so I feel I have accepted the fine this way even though I have proof I had paid and it wasn't my fault this happened. Please help me with advice, thank you jkoll |

Read the sticky here. You need to ignore all the threatening letters as there is no substance to them. You will not be taken to court as LDK would lose (and if they know this), so if there is no court there cannot be a baliff involved. PPC cannot "fine" anyone, all they have done is issued an uneforceable invoice which can be safely ignored.
