The company I work for has just received a Bus Lane PCN from Manchester City Council from almost FIVE months ago – please advise what the legal time limit is for such a notification – all our drivers are responsible for paying such tickets but unfortunately this driver has just left our employment and unlike a speeding ticket there is no opportunity to provide details of the driver to the council for them to pursue, the RK being responsible.

Would all depend on who the vehicle was registered to. Was your company registered keeper at time of contravention? Remember the DVLA system can take few weeks to update even after a change as a lot of these councils seem to get the info on cassette not always by a live-link
