Hi all! I have 9 points previously due to a forgetful ride after my insurance expiry. Recently have got two speeding tickets and one offered with online classes and another one with 3 points and £100 fine or appear in court? what shall I do? Shall I request in court before things going worse? Or accept extra 3 points along with my previous 6 altogether 9 points? Also, I’m a new driver less than a year so what would be the consequences? I know it’s stupidity but has got selected as a police constable recently and how this will affect my career? Bits of Advice welcome

Something isn't right here. If you got 6 points for an IN10 offence AND you are a new driver, then the DVLA should have automatically revoked your licence.
When did the IN10 offence occur? And when did you pass your FIRST driving test? |

If a fixed penalty is available it’s almost always the best option. You would have to go to court should you tot or have a defence and want to plead not guilty.
As above, the DVLA will revoke your licence when reaching 6 points within the first 2 years after passing your test. Did this happen and you’ve got your licence back? Being on 9 points will be precarious but manageable until the points expire. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver

If the 6 points were acquired before the test was passed then the new drivers act would not trigger a revocation, I think those above have failed to take that into account - that's normal, but the 3+ points you now face will.
The course and fixed penalty will mitigate the immediate financial harm, in addition if you took all six points you'd be disqualified for 6 months as well as having your licence revoked. Revoking is carried out by the DVLA sometime after the triggering points are awarded, you can immediately apply for a new provisional licenec the next day and start booking tests. I think those above have failed to take that into account To be fair we both asked for the OP to clarify and I was specific on the revocation condition. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver
