Hi, don't know if I can get out of this parking ticket, but could do with some advice of how to if I can.

I received a ticket with the reason "01 Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours"

Yes, the road I was parked off had double yellow lines
Yes, it was during a football match when it was claimed to be restricted times to park

BUT I was not parked on the road at all, I was parked on the footpath, and I was not blocking the footpath nor ticket issued for being ON the footpath.

Can I fight this ticket ?

Thank you

The yellow lines extend to the pavement, but post a copy of the PCN (both sides) and we might find something that makes it invalid. Also a link to the location on Google Street View can help.

Everything you've told us so far indicates you are bang-to-rights because the DYLs apply to footways and verges up to the property line. However, why not post up a GSV link and tell us where you were when we open the link.

Also post the PCN as cp8759 has requested.

Agree. Best pay the discount unless the PCN contains fatal errors.

Can we have a photo of the back of the PCN in full please? You've cut off the important bit.

looks like I'm onto a loser then if the DYL are forcible across the path.
I will scan the rest of the ticket at work on Monday just in case.
