I have received a claim form for the costs of £175 (£100 amount claimed, £25 court fee and £50.00 legal costs).

Having read the form and reviewed the options, there are two choices I would consider taking as my next steps

1. Agree with the claim and pay now
2. Disagree with the claim

In terms of disagreeing with the claim, would I stand any chance of winning based on the following thread? http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=125527 Or is it best to pay the £175?

What are the costs involved in having your day in court?

So why are you starting another thread? The rule is one thread per case !!!

Update: Paid the claim, would advise anyone else to do if you can't find the advice you are looking for. Best to get it out the way and move on with your life smile.gif

I would recommend anyone reading this thread to try to co-operate with the forum rules and at least have the good grace to respond when a trusted adviser makes a suggestion.

Don't behave in the same manner that the OP has on here and the linked thread.
