Hello all,
Have done some reading on site for a while but now want some learned opinions. PCN was issued as car was parked up whilst a passenger retrieved purchased products from a business. Driver did not leave vehicle. Three CE letters were sent, all ignored, then 2 ZZPS letters were issued, both ignored. Curious as to whether someone in this situation would be best continuing to ignore? Can upload documents if needed or can answer any questions. Help greatly appreciated! Civil Enforcement has a standard letter chain
If ZZPS is ignored, the next letter will come from QDR or Wright Hassall, solicitor (same company) We think these letters are sent by ZZPS on QDR/WH notepaper If these letters are ignored, two more will follow - Final Notice and Formal Letter of Claim These are sent by the actual companies and the FLOC needs a blunt reply It won't change the outcome in any way but the reply demonstrates that you've acted reasonably If there is no payment, a claim is likely to follow several months later If you didn't appeal the original Parking Notice within 28 days, this is the only opportunity to kill it for good CEL always cancels claims if they're defended Defences are based on CEL defective paperwork, poor signs and fake charges What happened on the day doesn't usually merit more than a couple of lines This post has been edited by Redivi: Sun, 18 Nov 2018 - 15:01 |
